Phew, glad to be up to date with the blogs and pictures again - think i've been on the internet for 2 hours now...!!

Arrived in Vang Vieng at 5.30pm, found a guesthouse for only 30,000kip per night, which is 1pound50 between us!!! We met up with Siva and Rebecca, who we've been bumping into all through Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos!

We all went tubing yesterday, it was such an awesome day! We started off getting a tuk tuk to the beginning point. You get in the tyre and float down the river till you come to a bar, which has zip slides and rope swings. They pull you in with a bamboo stick if you're having trouble! We stopped off at the first bar which had a zip slide, got some beer then had a go! Jack decided it would be a good idea to hold on with his knees instead of his hands - it did work, but he held on to the rope and got grease all over his face and hands!

The next few bars had zip slides and rope swings - Jack went on them all, I went on them all except one, which was so high i didn't make it to the top because I felt sick (scared of heights) so i had to wimp out on that one! I would've been ok to do it if i didnt have to climb up - plus it was all made of bamboo, not too safe!

We drifted further down, had a drink at the last bar then headed back to town. We're having a day off today, but thinking about going khayaking tomorrow, and hopefully tubing again before we leave for Luang Prebang.
