Haven't had time to get on the internet lately and update this so i've got looooots to say. Luckily my memory is like a goldfish though so i'll probably forget half of it!
... After the zoo we had a couple of days left in Noosa. We spent them mainly chilling out on the beach, wishing we could surf as well as everyone out there on the boards. We also walked through some of the national parks in search of some koolas. It was a pretty quite and relaxing couple of days with nothing special really to report apart from the stunner that was the SWEDE. A stonewall 10/10 we met in our room, who admitadly we all fell in love with haha!
From Noosa we headed down the coast to Brisbane, which felt like civilisation once more after being stuck in small towns for so long! We met up with a few people from our fraser island tour as well as lucy and liv from back home! After a huge pre-lash we attempted to go out and see what brissy had to offer. Unfortunately this attempt ended in an ambulance being called and some fuzzy heads the next morning! SOME GIRLS CANT DRINK!!! The next morning we met up with KILNER who showed us around his home town. We went to a pretty sweet lagoon as well as seeing some other awesome things - thanks kilner.
The next day we arrived in Surfers Paradise with the girls from our fraser tour and i think we will all agree that it has definitely been one of our favourite places a long the coast. We went out both nights in surfers but the clubs had nothing on the mighty JJs! In surfers we also went to wet and wild water park which was such a good day out although some of the slides were SO scary!!
Surprise surprise when we arrived in Byron the day after we went out again. From what I remember it was a good night, but then again i dont remember much! We relaxed in Byron for a couple more days until OLIS BIRTHDAY arrived... In the morning we went for a surfing lesson and all managed to stand up multiple times - SO PROUD. Then in the evening we hit up cheeky monkeys club. Although the birthday boy had to 'TC' he held up alright and a good night was had by all!
After Olis birthday/birthday week so much needed detoxing has been needed. We went to a crazy hippy placed called Nimbin with Paz in his camper van which was a pretty surreal day out before arriving in Sydney. As it is SO expensive we only went out the once but we thought it was an amazing city with some great sites and we all secretly wished we could stay there longer...
Yesterday we arrived in rainy Melbourne! We haven't got much planned but we're going to see some rugby later tonight which should be a good laugh. We fly out of Aus in a couple of days time and I think its safe to say we've had another incredible month. Although the weather has been a bit mixed and the wallet has been hit hard, we've met some amazing people, seen some beautiful beaches and some awesome cities so can't really complain. Can't wait for Asia now though, WATCH OUT REILLY - WE'RE COMING TO GET YOU!!!xx
