Today we went to the Carrara Marble Quarry, which was really cool.

We went on a tour in a jeep which fit 9 people, and went up between the quarries, on the same road as all the trucks. Our tour guide told us all about the quarries and how the marble was cut.

It was pretty interesting, but going in the jeep was a bit freaky because we had to go in between all the huge trucks, and up and down really steep roads.

It was also where part of Quantam od Solace (the James Bond movie) was filmed!
