The flight was full of little babies crying and kicking my seat behind me.. So much for sleeping.
I didnt know where Tuisku was staying so we took the bus to Bondi Junction, so that we'd be at least a little bit nearer. All Tuisku said was that shes at bondi. A nice guy on the bus told us lots about sydney and bondi, so we found an internet cafe. I checked my messages and found the name of the hostel Tuisku was staying at. it appered that Tuisku hadnt heard about the appartment.. so now we have to live in hostels till we find an appartment.
It was really great. The first night I got to practise my french with the french guys around some drinks. We had a blast! The second day me and Tuisku went to see all the tourist stuff you have to see when in Sydney: opera house and the ..umm really famous bridge. I cant think of the name now! It was just like in the postcards. We also got ourselves a mailbox, so if you want to send postcards, money or loveletters to me, this is the address:
Liisa Airaksinen TCP #14764,TCP 7th floor Dymocks Building, 428 George street, Sydney NSW 2000, AUSTRALIA.
And then we went to see the famous Bondi beach. Ah, i love it. I could keep my eyes off the beach, so i almost ran into every single lamppost on the beach road..Because i really didnt look where i was going. Some good looking surfing.
We were mostly hanging around Sydney, I was trying to settle down a little, but then we decided to leave for Manly on thursday. So the last days in Bondi were really chilled out. Sunbathing at the beach, eating a LOT and looking at the surfer...surfshops! Theyve got some really nice clothes here.
When i earlier on said that I would continue this blog because I had to get to know the nightlife of bondi, I now tell you that it was awesome. We sat by the beach looking at the stars and talking. Chilled out once again. This I think is the thing i love most about travelling, you dont have to stress.
