The journey to Carti through Guna Yala territory was a crazy road: steep, twisty and through lush green jungle. We spent a couple of days at D&D Brewery Co. enjoying the wildlife and the stunningly beautiful Lago de Yojoa. Our first border crossing into Central America proper was into Guatemala at El Ceibo.
