Nice photos! Resort looks gorgeous. Good to see what you look like, Keith! :-) Jaimie sent me a photo of Sally weeks ago. She looks lovely. All Jaimie told me about you is that you're tall, funny and good-looking.
Did you hear from Jaimie? We rec'd a teary e-mail from her. She's stuck in Korea because of the weather. Wrote at 2:30 (a.m.) and didn't know where she'd be sleeping or when or how she could come home. Wrote that she's tearful and exhausted but fine. We were supposed to meet her at the airport on Tuesday at 5:30; now we have no idea....
Yes, I spelled her name J-a-i-m-i - e. Named her after the Bionic Woman but she spells her name like the French "I love." So I added the middle i. Didn't make her middle name any easier--it's Leigh. :-)
One of my Vietnamese students was telling me that they still refer to Ho Chi Minh City as Saigon. Some people don't adapt easily to change. :-)
Glad you got some sun while you were there, Keith. The weather certainly sounds dismal... and better grounded in Korea than crashing in the rain. (Those poor people on the flight in Thailand! A Canadian woman actually survived the plane crash.)
Thank you for your kindness. Jaimie enjoyed her week with you and appreciated your generosity.
Enjoy your travels, Ian. Keep writing. Thanks for looking after our kids, Keith. I'll be relieved when Jaimie's home safe.
Love Janet

Hi Ian & Jamie - Hi Janet & Jim
I am in Singapore on my way home from having a really great few days with the team. Met them in No Chi Minh City (HCMC - backpacker speak) some 24 hours late (and that is another story) and spent the night catching up on Ian's stories and getting to know Jaimie.
We went up toi Mui Ne for a few days - 5 hours to go 100 miles!! Monsoon and crazy driving - in all my life I have never seen worse! Mui Ne was very peaceful and we did nothing but laze in the very hot sun and continue to chat. Back to the oppresive heat of HCMC - with the monsoons - and more shopping!
They are both really well and I left them to enjoy their last 24 hours together. Jamie goes home to Ottowa today (Monday) and Ian heads off to Cambodia - watch out for Pol Pot he is a bit of a lad!
Love to all
Keith (Sally - please learn how to spell)

Hi, guys
Fantastic pictures and interesting blog. Thanks for posting.
Have to agree with your dad, Ian. Hair's fine (I know Jaimie didn't want you to shave it) but with that hair band, (it was the style in the 60's but for girls only) you shouldn't be surprised that guys are hitting on you. ;-)
Take care of each other.
Love to you both,
Jan & Jim

Now what is going on with your hair? A bloody Alice Band - you need to get that sorted - the Bournemouth boys will have something to say about that!
Didn't know that Jamie was with you - kept that quiet - Hi Jamie - well come back, did you go away? I am lost - a hopeless individual.
