Hi folks! Many thanks for your post card from Costa Rica. We are enjoying looking at your photos and reading your blog/message board. As your other friends have said, there's loads of snow here, so you are in the best place. Glad you had a good Xmas. We spent it with Eleanor & Simon in Eastbourne and had a very enjoyable time. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you both. Best Wishes, Roger & Molly.

Hi Molly and Roger
Glad the postcard arrived! Hope the snow hasn´t caused too many problems for you and that it looked lovely and festive over christmas...would have liked to come home for just one day to be able to see the 1st white christmas in years! We will be spending new year in the jungle! Hopefully there will be some sort of celebration, if not we will make one!
Happy new year for when it arrives

buenos dias!
que tal? thats about it for the spanish from Lesley! Not hugely impressive I grant you...
Christmas was lovely here. All met up on Boxing Day at nana's. Max was in his element with parcels & paper! Sure you will have heard - but we have buckets of snow. Not a usual festive scene.
Have to admit - concur with your mama, that hammock lying by waterfalls sounds rather loverley.
Have a fab new year & stay safe - adios

Hola!
Muy bien, gracias! I would write more spanish here but I fear that the people who actually speak spanish would start correcting me!!
I can just see max now ripping all the paper and generally being a ball of very cute trouble!! Thats cool you all had a white xmas, the hammocks were lovely but I can´t believe I was away for the 1st white xmas in years! haha, c´est la vie!
Hope you are all well

happy Christmas Ian & Suzy.
Hope you had a good time. Its cold back here with a bit of snow on the ground. We all had a good time, saw family, openned presents, enjoyed ourselves. We all thought about you two. Thanks for your presents.
How about a bit of Spanish on your next blog entry? Your Costa Rica trip sounded fantastic and we can't wait to see all the photos, well a few of them anyway. You may have missed Christmas in the UK but Suzy's mum says she would rather have been in a warm hammock with the ocean lapping nearbye. (Think she's a little bit jealous?)

atlast Stuart has found me the placeto go. no comment. You"ll have to stay away for at least a couple of years for me to get the hang of computers. Blog makes me envious. It"s snow, ice and damp here. Got myself a little job {caring for older lady}, purchased fridge/freezer and started decorating guest bedroom. Electrician eventually completed job, some floorboards still needing replaced. Dad's back stilll painful. Stuart's next job is moving bed settee and shifting old fridge and freezer. As you know welike to work our guests in exchange for our scintillating company. Take care. Lovely to hear your voice.Enjoy h & g with love.

Hi!
Mum and dad...spanish is going well, we are both getting a lot more confidence to use it, and although it is still very broken and basic we can make ourselves understood which is the main thing. We spent 2 hrs last night talking with the family about life in scotland vs costa rica, xmas traditions, skiing, surfing etc!
Becky! its a bit strange not having you around here! But glad to hear your journey home was ok and enjoy the snow!! :)

Hi Guys,
Miss me yet? I'm missing you and Quepos. It's hard to be home in the snow and going back to work this morning.
My bus ride and flights all went off without a hitch. I even made it to my square dance Saturday night after arriving here early that afternoon.
Tell everyone at the school I said hi, and enjoy the rest of your time there.
