Loving all your gorgeous pics. You look so healthy and lovely and tanned (yes, that's you, James). And so you should with all those delicious beaches you have been visiting. Oh, how we are jealous. It is cold, windy and a bit drizzly here. Hoping the weather perks up for Jacob's fishing trip on Sunday. No idea what I will do with the party guests if it is cancelled.
Thanks for Jacob's message - we got it on the morning of his birthday.
Love you

Burgers, i'm jealous! It's 35 degrees here and can't imagine snow right now but how i would love to be in my moonboots, i'm gutted i won't have mine in Whistler - they're in the loft somewhere. Maybe an excuse to buy a new pair??? I wonder if they are too cool for Canada! Lets chat soon xx
Mr Deakin we're gutted we will miss your birthday, James is particularly upset to be missing out on Nandos (maybe you could eat some Haloumi for me?) We hope you have a fabulous day and get spoilt rotten xx
Leon
Yo!
Hope you guys are good and glad you managed to avoid the various tsunamis and other such like natural disasters! I know P has told you about what is going on but don't worry by hook or by crook we will be in Canada come the new year! Have been abandoned by the missus tonight so at least am avoiding the rubbish factor and drinking some vinos on my todd. How sad. Is my bday weekend coming up next week so will raise a glass to absence friends. On the day am watching the Jackass movie (3D) and having Nandos. What more could a boy want!
Miss you and catch up soon.

Hi, Both! So lovely to Skype you at the weekend. You both look amazing.
Just been updating ourselves with all the fantastic pictures. So glad to see you are still playing Scrabble!
And I really fancy a dip under one of those water-falls, they looked great!
Hope Indonesia lives up to all your expectations. Stay safe. Love you loads

Hello Jimlaaaa and Hels Bells,
Just been looking through your Philippines photo's. It looks rather splendid! I bet you are enjoying immensely. James the sun seems to be making your hair grow somewhat. I seem to be lagging behind in that department! Mood selfish! You both look great and right into the travelling lifestyle. I'm getting all nostalgic sitting at my desk. Keep living the dream!
All's good back here. Well apart from the fact that is turning rather cold. The mornings are now dark when I get up for work. I bet you're missing that! We've only got 3 1/2 weeks until the little one is due. I finished off the nursery this week so it is completely ready for her arrival. As of Tuesday Anwen is full term and pretty much ready to give birth. Apparently there are going to be some tricks performed to bring on labour so we could have news for you at any point. I'm off the booze now as well until the arrival! Probably a good thing you aren't here then! We still suck at football as we proved this week. Jimlaaa, the Ashes gets going next month and we're now above the Aussies in the test rankings nice. I think they've lost 3 series back to back, let's hope we can make it 4.
Anyhoo team, take care. Safe travels. Let's skype soon. Helen, Coco sends her love and I know you miss her!

Hello Both (and happy belated birthday to you, James)
I have just been catching up on your blog. Loving all the beautiful photos, especially the beautiful underwater scenes. Check you two out - you're pretty good with the old camera.
So much is happening here and time is flying. There have been a few times recently that I would have gladly swapped the house moving and renovating chaos for a deserted beach and a thunderstorm. It all sounds utterly fabulous.
We are missing you both and glad to see you looking so well - more pics of you two please. The gradual tanning process is good to observe from afar. Noticed some red shoulders there Helen, hope you're slapping on the factor 20.
And, very happy to hear you have been shopping. I feel a bit like I have been travelling for the past couple of weeks - living out of a bag. I do have more than four tops though, so should count myself lucky.
The boys are doing fine. Quite enjoying moving about. Lucas thinks we are staying in a hotel. I don't think he realises that eventually the building site will be our home. It's all a bit much for him. Jacob can't wait to get in there and paint his room red. I told him he could paint one wall - a compromise because what he wanted was Man United wallpaper and bed covers. Jacob is doing really well at school - getting lots of accolades for being a star pupil at the moment.
We're starting to think about christmas here. It will be weird spending it without you, but no doubt you will make yours one to remember.
All our love as ever
Gene, Cairs, Jacob and Lucas

Thank you for all your birthday messages, it is very kind of you! Helen made sure that my birthday was fantastic. We had a day of adventure where we got to see a beautiful waterfall, giant clams, hot springs and a stunning sunset out on a sand island in the middle of the sea.
Leon - Thank you for the present and I look forward to getting my eyebrows and hair back. However it might take more than dye to bring my hair back!
Anwen - The birthday wishes are much appreciated
Dave - At least I'm not about to take my pension
Fay - We miss you lots especially as you are only just over the water from us. I hope Japan is treating you well and I am very jealous of the spectacular array of toilet seats that are on offer over there!
Katherine - I would say that I am now a dark shade of white! Helen describes it as the colour of chicken gravy, I suppose that's not too bad as I do like gravy.
It was a shame that I couldn't spend it with you all, but be sure I was thinking about you. The homecoming party will just have to be that little bit better

Happy Birthday Souts!
Shame we are not with you to celebrate but am sure you will do something suitably riotous. Also make sure Helen gives you a pass to have some guiness on me! Just as long as it is out of your system by the time Whistler comes around.
Let us know what you get up to and look forward to seeing any photos. Your present will keep until we see you (ps I also have some dye for your hair and eye brows so we can see them again!).
Speak soon and Happy Bday again!
