friday 26th september - day 36 - hongkong We head, via the metro, to sai kung port with joe to catch a boat over to one of the many beaches on the peninsula. The town is full of restaurants and fishermen setting off or selling catch. We haggle a boat to 43 each return over to hap mun bay beach. Thursday 25th september - day 35 -Nanning - Hong Kong A 20 hour train journey later from nanning we arrive in shenzhen - which is on the hongkong boarder. We take a metro to liuhu and then walk and cross the boarder which is just a passport control. tuesday 23rd september - day 33 -nanning alarm doesnt go off but i wake up at 6.50 fortunately. the front door to the hostel is locked and nobody is about. i snoop about behind the desk and find the keys. seriously, what the f*** is this place!we get the no6 to east bust station and get on our 8.30am bus to detian easy peasy.the bus is 4ish hours and they make us put seatbelts on which is new. they then show us on the tv onboard, numerous real recorded bus crash...

monday 22nd september - day 32 - guilin to nanning9am train to nanning, breakfast of buiscuits and 6 hours of being stared at like animals in a zoo - and we arrive in nanning by 3pm. number 33 bus to the hostel - its an absolute dive - the 3 Ds, dark, dingy, dirty. The guy on reception speaks hardly any english.
