Day Two in Prague, we got kicked out of the hostel at 9am so it's been an early start today! We've been doing cultural stuff today and have been to Prague Castle, it's well worth a visit. We went around the Vitus Cathedral and to the top of the tower there (287 spiral steps!). We also went around the Prison Tower, the Old Palace and Golden Lane, all of which were very pretty. We visited a crazy exhibition about the history of the Castle, the highlight was the part about the heating of the castle, riveting!!! The clock in this picture is in the town square, it chimes every hour and each time it does figures around the clock move. I think the purpose of the clock is something to do with astrology.... It's quite pretty to look at!!! Tonight we're leaving Prague and getting a night-train to Budapest. We're only having seats this time, so maybe i wont spend the whole night hanging on a rail!!!
