Another update. We got the overnight train from Delhi to Mumbai and have now flown from there to Bangkok. Arrived yesterday about lunchtime and all i can say is what a place. Much cleaner and friendly than Mumbai. Mandi and i have been to Ko San Road and walked up and down, had a drink brought some things and.....oh yes i decided to get a tattoo on my back!!! one and a half hours of sheer agony but am very happy with it!!! Today we have been to see the Palace and all the Bhuddist temples and they are out of this world. Tomorrow we were going to have a river cruise and go through the floating market so should be interesting. Tomorrow afternoon will then be on our way by another overnight train to Surat Thani and then staying in a national park in the rainforest. This is with the tour we will be on and there are 13 other people who will be on it to so should be good and will keep you updated.
