Up at 9. Leisurely breakfast then went for a swim in the hotel then massage. Really good to have massage as body aches so much. Went for a Chinese lunch with sophie Onto the boat for a while then back to hotel room and watched a film. Met up with Steve in the evening to book the hotel for Beijing. Went for dinner with Sean and his skipper Matt and patsie Jan Dana and Carey from visit Seattle. A nice meal nacos and burgers with some red wine.

Had a free day today so had a lie in then leisurely breakfast at 9.30 back to room chilled out and watched a film. Went for a walk and looked around shops. Pasta for lunch then back to hotel and watched another film. Legs ache from walking around as we are not used to it. In the evening had a drink in the bar then went for steak with Carl sophie and Oliver (restaurant in the hotel )

Up at 7.30 could have done with a lie in but we had to be on the boat for 8.30 for a corporate sail day. The morning group really enjoyed it and Bob the skipper got them involved hoisting the sails etc. They took us out for lunch which was really nice. Noticed in the chicken dish a chicken foot yuk!! In the afternoon has a group of women and again got them involved in the work on the boat. Finished at 4.30 got back to the hotel to change then went for a drinks...

Up at 7am quick breakfast then had to be on coach for 8.30 for a trip to zhujiang primary school. They had presentations for us with dancing. Lots of the children wanted to have our autographs. Got back at 12,30 had kfc for lunch then working on the boat. Felt really tired not a lot of down time. Booked train tickets for Sunday to go to bejjine. Met the crew at 6.30 for our team meal along with clipper directors etc. Really good night along with music and dancin...

Woke at 7 managed to put a vpn on Carl's I pad so could connect to face book! The Chinese don't allow it! Had a bath such a luxury still after being on the boat. Breakfast in the hotel then down to the boat to carry on cleaning and preparing it for the next race. Found a really nice pizza place for lunch with a lovely atmosphere. Finished on the boat at 3.30 went back to hotel to chill for a while then had prizing giving at 5.30pm Had a really good evening all...
