Dragged my poor aunt out again today! We went to Covent Garden and listened to an opera singer - amazing breath/voice control. We had a look around some of the shops there and went to China town too. Nice sweet shop at Covent Garden - I got some Catherine Wheels which are liquorice straps wrapped around those squishy lollies that have the little round candy balls on them that you get in liquorice allsorts - yum! Lynn is a diabetic so she only ate two of those (we had the sherbert fountains later). Played cards in the evening with an inebriated Geoff who told me that I had no hope because not only was I a girl, I was also Australian!!! We thrashed him and Tony in the first game and it went a bit downhill for me and Lynn after that.

We went over to my cousin Tracey's today and went out to one of the local pubs for a meal. It was a very relaxing day and we also finally got ourselves a UK sim card. Excellent deal - 15 pounds got me the sim card with 15 pounds credit and 100 minutes free international calls. The only international people in my time zone are the Eurogirls so I called Clare. They were about to go for a cruise down the Seine in Paris and are having a wonderful time.

I killed Geoff at Trivial Pursuit over a pizza and then we hit the hay - early start tomorrow!
