Hi everyone,

Well, it's a bit hard to believe that we're actually here! Big excitement this morning when Tony and I were watching a squirrel race up and down in the tree just outside the bedroom window. So cute! Anyway, my cousin Geoff met us at the airport and I wasn't expecting him so that was a lovely surprise.

Today we hopped on the bus with my auntie Lynn down at Clapham Junction and went to St. Paul's cathedral - very impressive. We strolled along the river and had a look at the Globe Theatre but it was too late in the day to go in so we might try to go back before we leave. Geoff had made us a lovely roast lamb dinner when we got home and we sat down and watched the start of the new Dr. Who series - perfect day. Tomorrow we're off to Covent Garden so that will be lovely.

It's lovely weather here, 26oC today. Never seen so many shorts in my life! They're soaking up the sun before it disappears again. Nothing is air-conditioned so travelling on public transport is quite hot and sticky but there's so much to look at that it doesn't matter.
