Hi this is Luke now, as you can tell from the photo, we are staying on the beach in Ko Lanta that was affected by the Tsunami back in 2004. At first we saw that sign when we were coming to the guesthouse we are staying at and thought something had happened recently! Opposite there is another sign telling people a direction to go to evacuate in case anything does happen...it's quite surreal. Today we went on a longtail boat to see four islands off the shore of krabi! It was beautiful! We stopped for an hour on each island and at one point the boat stopped by poda island and we got to get off and go snorkelling! We got in the water and were surrounded by thousands and thousands of tropical fish of all different colours,shapes and sizes! GOOD GRIEF WE FINALLY GOT TO KRABI! after a 1 and a half hour boat ride,in which i forgot to put on sunscreen and of course refused to sit downstairs undercover...and now have sunburnt shoulders from falling asleep up on deck.I can just hear my mum saying "I told you,use that factor 50!" sorry mum!
