hi carla hope you got to vietnam safe and you're liking hanoi. there has been a slight change of plan in our camp we're not going vietnam!takes 2 days to get there which means we'd only have a day and have to pay 100 pound to get out.so we're back in thailand so let me know when you get here and we can meet up. places to go;chiang mai for trekking,stay at khao san road in bangkok. we're off to the islands soon so i'll keep you posted.

hi family, well we ar all back in bangkok!after buying our visas to vietnam we didnt actually go.we booked a bus to vietnam but when we got on it we were told it was a non-stop 40 hr journey on a little bus so it would have been 40hrs there and 40hrs back and we could only spend 2 days there so we all decided that it would be best to leave it, all abit gutted but it was for the best.anyway we have come back to bangkok just for 2 days so we can visit the bridge over the river kwai (because we have all heard of it!)went today and also visited the war museum next to it, it was good, steven you would have liked it.unfortunatly the day was ruined abit because ive just been so ill, not been right since we arrived but it got worse today,just feel sick all the time and on the toilet quite alot (eugh!)its awful though.ive stoped taking my malaria tablets cause think it might be the side effects of that, lets hope i dont get malaria!i know i should take them but being ill is ruining the holiday.we are going to pattaya tomorrow which is suposed to be a sort of ibiza sort place so ive been looking forward to it, lets just hope i feel better so can drink!after that we are off to the beaches so will have some beach pictures instead of waterfalls!thanks for the message david, the advanced wont be so bad!you can go camping again, ha ha!shame i wont be around for your 18th.anyway just wanted to let you all know im ok, except im not cause im almost dying!damn stomach, fingers crossed so i get well soon. hope everyone there is ok, would ring to chat but its just too expensive.hope my nieces/nephews are enjoying the summer holidays(and kimberley ofcourse!) love you all and miss you, all my love xx

Lured Lisa and yer maddo Grandparents over recently to paint my garden fence and help with the gardening (they'll do anything for a nice sarnie and a glass of lemondade) .

Riding the elephants looked cool, did a bit of horse riding in Texas last week, looked the part in me cowboy hat and that but couldnt do a thing with it, tried kicking at and shouting "hhhyyyyaaa" Indiana Jones style but the lazy b****** just munched on some grass instead.
