Saturday 13th November - Rain Forest Retreat, Franz Josef So we arrived in Wellington and spent 3 nights at Base. Wellington was okay, pretty good for going out drinking - although we didn't quite make it out to many bars as we all got too drunk on our first night there! Friday 5th November - River Valley Adventure Lodge, River Valley We didn't end up going white water rafting, were going to wait until we head back up the island our way back or do in the south island. The weather is pretty rubbish today (cold and raining) so we've stayed at the lodge with a few others and made a fire to cosy round and roast marshmallows - so thought we'd catch up on our blog. Wednesday 3rd November - Base, Taupo (Matt's 1st blog!!! ............About bloody time) We left Waitomo this morning at 10!!! Happy for a lay in!! Sunday 31st October 2010 – Base, Rotorua Kia Ora!! Wow!!! We have had an absolutely amazing day today!! Just had to write it down before I forgot it all!!
