G'day! well its 7.30 in the morning here and im wasting time before me and ed set off to go and check out the blue mountains (eds still getting ready what a girl)! we are settling here really well, a bit jet lagged at first but nothing a singapore sling on singapore airlines didnt sort out, to get us through the flight.

we've checked out all the major attractions (opera house, harbour bridge etc), took a really good day trip out to watsons bay, which was beautiful and had the reccomended fish and chips in the park there (thanks carol - i'll put the proof pics on soon) - we've booked our bridge climb for monday and tomorrow we are planning to head to bondi for the day as its supposed to be quite nice - lazy sunday on bondi beach - i dont know anyone would think we were on some sort of holiday. oh also going to see a show tonight at the lyric theatre - pricilla queen of the desert - the musical (dont think you could get any more aussie camp than that!) we are suprised how easy we manage to start getting our bearings in each place we go to, especially me, as you all know my orienteering skills are not always up to scratch! 

sydney really is a fantastic place to be and its amazing how one minute you can be in the buzz and hustle and bustle of the city, then take a trip a few minutes down the road and you're wandering round the botanical gardens looking at all the stunning views, plant life and wildlife - its really peaceful there! we've booked our hop on hop off bus so we can head up the east coast we might drive back and take a couple of weeks to do that - not decided yet -  but we are leaving sydney on tuesday night and next stop after that is byron bay
