Today was Stefan’s birthday! The sun was out and it was a beautiful day. After listening to some happy birthday songs in the house we went for Bagels. I opted for a delicious cinnamon raisin bagel with Bacon cream cheese & Becky had sesame bagel with cream cheese. These were eaten on the subway. Feeling acclimatised and refreshed I started the day with a short run through the park and around the Brooklyn museum. The park was busy with pre work runners and cyclists. Monday was a nice lazy start, with Stefan driving us to Jacob Riis Park next to the Rockaway’s. The whole beach front area has been redeveloped since Hurricane Sandy.
