We grabbed the subway to Times Square and walked across to the Circle Line ferry. We could not have times this better as they had just started boarding for the Best of NYC boat. Very kindly first thing Stefan made us bacon & eggs for breakfast. It was Friday in New York City we had to begin with a trip up the Empire State Building! Our city pass allowed us to skip the lines and head straight up to the outdoor area on the 86th floor. Today was Stefan’s birthday! The sun was out and it was a beautiful day. After listening to some happy birthday songs in the house we went for Bagels. I opted for a delicious cinnamon raisin bagel with Bacon cream cheese & Becky had sesame bagel with cream cheese. These were eaten on the subway. The weather was very good again today. Which combined with being National Hot Dog Day made this the perfect time to head to Coney Island. Becky and I headed down first and got off the subway at Brighton Beach and walked along by the water to Coney Island. We strolled around the boardwalk, before going on the infamous wonder wheel.
