Trying to sleep in the heat was quite difficult until the early hours of the morning, when I could close the window to shut out the noise of the 7 train. I got up at 06:30am (01:30amUS) to head to the airport. The flight down was quick but our landing was delayed at Heathrow. We also were taken to an international gate instead of a domestic. This left me only 40mins to be bussed back to domestic to then have to walk back to the international gate. Having to disembark from the rear when I was in seat 1 didn't help. I took Charlotte over to Queens on the 7train where she was able to meet Stefan & Amanda's cats. Well Gus anyway, Willa was MIA. I took her to Woodside for lunch.
