Today we went to a little town to eat our lunch there are only a few hundred people live there. Then we had to get in the car to drive to a different town there was a wine festival and we had a gelati, mine was strawberry flavour. Then we drove to a big castle we couldn't go in because there was a wedding happening.

Today we went for a walk we saw Christopher Columbus's house. Then we saw some art work in a mall. there were lots of different pantings, I liked the animal pantings. Then we went to eat lunch I had a chickpea gruel then we got in the car to drive to Linari 5 km from Siena. My sister and I watched 'Grease' on the way. We had a little trouble to find the hotel but we found it in the end. The hotel is in a really old building. It used to be where nuns lived.

Today we went to the aquarium it is the second biggest in Europe it has 5000 different types of sea creatures my favourite was the manatee which looks likes a seal and it swims like a dolphin. We also saw some dolphins, crabs, sharks, seals, penguins and clown fish. We also saw jellyfish some jellyfish were really big and some were really small. I also liked the tropical aquarium. Today We went to four old towns in the hills that people still live in. You can't drive in the towns you need to walk. There was lots of church's and a cemetery we also saw a big dog that frightend lily. We did a lot of walking. Then we went to a cave that three boys found in1933, in the summer they climbed down a well with a candle and they found the cave. Today we walked around Pietra Ligure and Lily and I played in a nearby park. We bought some food from the local stores and had a picnic lunch on the beach. The Italian Riviera is rocky. It is different from the beaches on the French Riviera because it has rocks and the sand is darker. For lunch we had rolls with cheese and ham. I also had a meringue from the local bakery.
