Hey All,

Probably Last Australian post now as we have finally travelled the 1700 KM up the Bruce Highway to Cairns! At last post we were stuck in Airlie Beach but we only had one extra night there in the end. Unfortunatley for us, Cyclone Nelson began to close in and we were stuck on Magnetic Island for three extra nights. On our last day however, the weather did clear up enough for us to rent a little moke car which we took around the island exploring for the day.

Next day we left Magnetic Island and travelled about eight hours with our favourite driver "forrest" only stopping briefly at Babinda Boulders for a paddle and a breath of fresh air. Luckily the sun is shining and the temperatures have soared back up so we should get a few nice days in Cairns, cyclones permitting of course...

Up next, our Adventures in Tokyo, see how much trouble we can get into for a week in Asia, then back home to the snow and letter bombs. Happy Days!
