Noosa and Rainbow Beach

Noosa - After a few days chillout and the arrival of Rich it was time for us to set sail once again....this time to Noosa! We spent 3 days in Noosa where we met some pretty legendary people, got some calzones, had alot of rain, had a few good nights out and chilled on the beach (when it wasn't raining).

Day 1 - We arrived in Noosa late afternoon, checked ourselves into a 16 bed dorm at Nomads (biggest one yet)! It was pretty rainy for the first couple of hours so we did the only thing you can do when the weather is poo.......eat! However, later that day the sun came out so we popped down to the beach to catch some well needed rays (well Rich needed them a he was looking pasty).
That night we got our complimentay $1 pasta from the bar (which was barely enough to feed a small door mouse) then ladies night began. Throughout the night a fair number of jugs were bought and too much tink was played, during the night I also filled out 100 forms to win a Fraser Island trip. Thankfully my desperate efforts were not wasted (probably because there was only about 10 people entered/were in the club) and I won a trip to Fraser. However this later turned out to be not that great as we could of probably could of got a better deal by paying for 3 trips...but oh well!
Day 2 - It rained pretty much all day so again we ate quite alot. Other activities included me getting a rather brutal and extortionate bikini wax (but I won't go into details as I think the details may be too graphic to be posted on the internet) and booking our fraser island and whitsundays trips!
That evening we had another night in the Nomads bar with our Sadie and Rach and an overly stampy local (they were literally the only other people in the bar)! Sade had some 'rate moves'!
Day 3 - Was sunny.....yay! We went to the beach with our sadie and rach played some aussie rules, rich got his burn on while jonny got his t-shirt on (to prevent the burn)! After a good day at the beach we made some kangaroo curry for tea, a couple of bevvies, then it was time for bed!

After Noosa we headed up to Rainbow Beach for a couple of days. Rainbow beach was probably the smallest place we've been yet.

Rainbow Beach

Day 1 -

We went to the beach for a bit, but it was pretty windy so sand ended up in every oraphis (definitely not spelt right). That night we went to the sand blow which was pretty awesome. It was basically a massive sandy valley that had formed on a hill and it was an ideal place to watch the sunset.
Day 2 -We were up bright and early (6am) to feed some wild dolphins which was pretty cool even though they didn't let you touch them (Jonny was very disappointed by this). As soon as we got back from the dolphin feed it monsooned it down so we didn't really do much until it cleared up, then we went for a run on the beach which was much needed! Han bought me and Rich a drink that night in payment for us having to spend a fortune on the Fraser Island Trip.....very kind of her (and memorable as it doesnt happen often hehe).

All in all Noosa and Rainbow beach were both a nice chillout before the crazy times in Frasers and the Whitsundays!
