Today we left Delphi. On the way through all the villages there were people in the street celebrating Easter Sunday. Today we walked down to the historic site at Delphi. We lucked out (again) and it was free entry - there are some benefits to travelling at Easter. We walked all around the site which starts from road level and climbs up the side of the mountain. We saw the ruins, some restored areas, the ampitheatre and the sporting arena. Very cool. The train to the airport in Rome was like a Sardine tin this morning. Soooo many people on it in general plus heaps more with suitcases. It was crazy. We left on time but there were people aroud us freaking out about missing planes as everything was taking longer than it should. Guess that's what we get for flying at Easter.
