The train to the airport in Rome was like a Sardine tin this morning. Soooo many people on it in general plus heaps more with suitcases. It was crazy. We left on time but there were people aroud us freaking out about missing planes as everything was taking longer than it should. Guess that's what we get for flying at Easter.
This plane ride was much more comfortable than the last few :o)
We landed in Greece and collected our hire car. We drove to Delphi (took 3 hours) and on the way we saw protesters who had destroyed some toll booths and the collecters and police had given up so we got out of one lot of tolls! Maybe we should try that on eastlink?
We saw the sunset at Delphi (after wedging the car in on the pavement nearby and queueing behind buses full of tourists) and are enjoying our top floor room with the view as above.
There was an Easter parade but it was running 2 hours late and we had already gotten too sleepy to go and see it. We heard it though ;o) Loving Greece already
