Today we left Delphi. On the way through all the villages there were people in the street celebrating Easter Sunday. Sooooo many lambs on spits in a row and people dancing and partying etc

We stopped at roadside tavern/petrol station. I was playing with the dog pictured above who belonged to a guy we got chatting with. He said the food we ordered would probably take half an hour (he knows the people that run the place) and I said i was sure it would be worth the wait. He said probably not! He was a nice guy, Greek-American and kept us entertained while we waited. After he left i was playing with a pregnant cat who loves hot chips ;o)

The rest of the day was spent returning the rental car and finding our hotel. We have a good hotel again (thank god) and it is walking distance to Plaka (the old area of Athens with shops etc) and the Acropolis.

Not much is open due to the holiday but we did get some food and Q's all important ciggies.

Greek Idol is on tv, it's is everything you think it would be... and less
