Hello all from a wet Niagara,
Well it was wet yesterday when we were at the falls at least, now we're gong to get the bus it's nice and sunny! Despite being thoroughly travel spoilt and used to seeing amazing things, Niagara falls up-close is thoroughly awe inspiring. The sheer volume of water that drops over Horseshoe falls is astounding and when you start to consider how long it's been doing that for, it becomes more impressive. It is astounding to us how or WHY anyone would want to go over it in a barrel!
We left Toronto a day early in the end to give ourselves an extra day in New England. Toronto had a lovely laid back feel and some welcome changes from the States but after 24 hours we were scratching our heads for something else to do. Our Toronto highlight was a huge permanent market that had cheese that didn't come in a can and salad that wasn't encased in a bun. We even had time to go and see the new Harry Potter film that Steph loved and Greg admitted wasn't as bad as he thought it would be!
Another welcome change from the States is a much better standard of hostel. Well, having any at all is a nice change but they are actually quite nice. The place we're staying at in Niagara is a huge wooden 'New England' style house, it really is lovely and the owners who live here as a family can't do enough for us. We're going to try and take some pics of this one to show you all.
We're catching the bus to Boston this morning via Buffalo and because of the change in Buffalo it's going to take around 21 hours, which is nice! Well, hope you're all OK, we're excited to be coming home but also have three amazing cities to go which should be among the highlights of the trip.
Lots of Love
Greg and Steph
