Hi Sharon
Hope you are having a ball. Just been looking at the pics and reading the messages, can't believe you have done so much in such a short space of time. It sounds fantastic. Got a bit panicky though when I was reading the blog about your time in the mountains. You are all young and fit and I am now very worried I will not be able to cope with being in the mountains for 3 days!!! Also Vietnam sounds great - we could have gone onto Vietnam with our trip but decided just to do Thailand. I will keep checking your site to see your progress. Have fun, love Karen xx

Oi! The Deans.....? My Dad is a Londoner and as such he (unfortunately) supports Chelsea. He hates United, as do all other football loving, football fans. And Uni...d counts. That is strike two.
You're just a s*** team from Sussex, s*** team from Suuuuusex!......
Dad, tell the magic folks I'll send them some pictures of the volunteeting soon.
Peace out to all the lovers.

Hey everyone! Just to let you know a few things--
1. Nick, Laura, Mike, Adele and Steve, the three of us arrived safely in AMAZING Vietnam. We met Bee, have stayed at her house and a great hotel, got to know some locals, booked some trips (more details to follow) and all is well. Hope Ko Samui is good, and you got there safely, but I'm changing our "we are currently at" thing, coz WE are currently at Vietnam!
2. Vietnam is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. Ho Chi Minh City (old Saigon) has been absolutely bizarre, with more mo-peds than you would have thought possible, and people are really cool here. It is true what people say, that Vietnam is 5 years behind Thailand. This has really benefitted us, and we have been treated really well so far.
3. We are off to watch the FA Cup tonight. Much as I hate both of them and want both of them to lose, I reckon the Chelski will get this one. 400 million quid on two cups, what a return!
4. Thanks for sorting out the cameras Mike. For everyone else, I foolishly left Faye's and my own camera in Bangkok, but they miraculously turned up after a lot of stress, shouting and a kid word or two from the three brothers. Cheers Mike, Nick and anyone else who carried the threat of death forward after we left for Vietnam.
5. Yeah, everyone, we have booked some amazing stuff. This week, we are booked into the orphanage. Faye, Sharon and I are going to the park with the kids on Tuesday, and will decorate when we get a chance. We are meeting the Nun who runs the place tomorrow. Laura Smith (and Bee for that matter), I just want to thank you again for putting us in touch with Bee in Saigon. She is a brilliant person and has given us so much in the way of accomodation, contacts, advice and a little bit o' love too! Cheers! Next week, Faye goes to meet the others in Southern Thailand, probably Ko Samui, and Shaznay and I are going to Cambodia for a trek too. But not before the three of us go to Hoi An, which is also meant to be incredible. Like I say,. blog will follow when we all have more time. Oh yeah, and to all the others in the group, Sharon and I will be missing the full-moon party and meeting you in Bangkok, just before Hong-Kong. Sorry we couldn't be there, but Cambodia and the killing fields looked just too tempting too ignore.
6. Again, thanks everyone for the messages. They really do make things extra-funny, and at one point in about ten days, we are all in about 3 different countries, so things should get a bit juicy. Nick, Mike, Adele and Faye, don't forget to put a blog on for Ko Samui, and we will do one from Vietnam.
That is it for now. That was quite long, should have put it in the blog bit. PICS, UPDATES AND MESSAGES TO FOLLOW, LOVE YOU ALL.

This is a bloody good excuse to get out of all my chores!! - This Blog has more viewers than Big Bros/Pop Idol and all that other crap, s***,...i'm warming up now - kids in bed!! - I can't even go to bed tonight without checking up on you all.
Bit worried about this monk you saw smoking, Laura!....Nick, when you let her out of the bubble wrap again - make sure you check her pockets and don't let her pick and eat anything she doesn't recognise....I don't want my cousin coming back with a Bob Marley wig,a multi coloured tea cosey hat and singing "BLUE is the colour!!"
-I must dash....i feel a song coming on and i dont want to get blocked!
Love you loads and wishing everyone well.
