Yesterday we visited a little corner of Cyprus called "Oroklini".
We were amazed to see a rare specii apparently called a "beached whale" - they were mainly a whitish colour with very vivid red markings. There were seen spread all over the coastline.
When we were hungry we grabbed a spot of lunch. Dadoulou had chicken fillets (as did our waitress)!!
When we were bored we amused ourselves by taking turns to go into the sea and have a - as some northern Europeans might call it - "pie and mash". Di won this competition hands down!!
In the evening we feasted on the leftovers from the previous nights bbq.
We will report again tomorrow.

We're Currently In Europe
After a rediculously early start (4.30am), we travelled through the morning and best part of the afternoon on this leg of our travells. We had a bit of a dodgy moment on the plane at feeding time (we hadn't paid for a meal), but got over this by buying some wiskey,(we learnt this little trick on other travells), this got us through times of no food. Anyway we arrived safely.
We are on a little island called 'Cyprus' in the Mediteranian. Temperatures are marvelous as are the locals. We are (of course), the 'Cyprus Seven' , soon to be nine! Happy B'day Stevo! Shame it isn't ten (Faye). Have seen some wildlife already, two cats (we understand they are called Oscar and Cosmo), they are very tame and we didn't feel threatened in any way... Di has actually picked one up and stroked it!!
We have also seen a 'lowlifer' mainly a cockroach that Cosmo caught and ate!
Everthing here has a sort off 'Greek' feel about it....i'm sure you would love here Matt!
The youngest member of the Cyprus seven was sporting illumated shoes which was handy cos we nearly lost her out in the bush (in other words Mary's hedges!!)
Bye for now...will keep you posted WUURDDD!!!
(Have borrowed something called an 'ABACUS' from one of the locals to do the sum at the end)
Happy Papadoulou
"THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!"

Faye- I'll see what I can do with the CDs, but I am in Cornwall for two weeks as of Tuesday, and I may not get a chance. Might try and do some surfing when I'm down there, do you have any contacts there? Is the film out yet? I'll log on and have a look now, but let us all know if it comes out soon. (I can't be f***ed to scroll down the messages)
Dino Kat Slater- Yeah, the Deans are watching the DvDs, another two people willing to listen to the truth. Good though, innit?
Mary- CALM DOWN! It'll all be fine. Fine......
Mum- Stop lying, you wrote the blog. I don't know why you would lie you liar.
Shaznay- Cheers for the blog again, where you at?
Everyone else- I'm off for a while, laters X
Lucy Pappas from Australia, Lucy from Scotland and all the boys- I don't think I'm gonna see you when you are down. I am really gtted and I'm sorry.
I'm coming back from some work after a week or two, but if I can see you, I'll rush home when I can. Talk soon X

As a pillar of sobriety and authority it is very amusing to watch Auntie Mary running around like an excited 5 year old waiting for the arrival of the brother and my fellow "Anglo". Just how much food does Auntie Mary think Dino and Di can eat!, Still might be a few titbits left for the old codger. Have to go now sitting somewhere I shouldn't.

Dina your holiday sounded good glad you had a nice time, i'm so gutted i'm not going to Cyprus too we will have to do one massive reunion of everyone involed in the blog in Cyprus next year!! Hope you all have a great time though. Dina i also know what you mean about the aircon i work up shivering in bed yesterday! Hope everyone is well yes Mary i'm counting down the days until i get to see Eric again! Love and miss you all. We expect to see one hell of a big doulou message on here when your all together, or even a blog! xxxxxxx
Dina
As Faye is the only one left travelling, this is really a message for all the grown ups out there. We got back from Vegas yesterday after a really terrific holiday and now need to get sorted out for work on Monday again! I think I could get into gambling if it didn't involve the chance of losing money as well as winning it! I was taught well though and always left the table while I was ahead. As I only played twice though, I don't think that I'm in danger of getting into it too much. Americans are not quite as bad as I thought they were, though their politics will always stink, and we went to loads of shows and had a great time.
How could anyone have seriously believed that 'my' blog was actually from me and not written by my lunatic son?
I now have both my children home properly for the first time in 7 years and I think it's likely to kill us!
Hope the Worthing Christodoulous have a great holiday with the Cyprus Christodoulous - I would love to be out there with you too but can't see work agreeing to me disappearing again.
Michael and all the Deans, see you next weekend, we're setting tents up in the garden!
Mary, the temperature never dropped below 110 during the day and was 125 in the desert. It would have been oofou bira except that the air conditioning was so effective, I had to wear a cardie inside to keep warm!
Love to all
Auntie Mary
