We got up and had a great few hours in Coff's Harbour skyping family before heading on to Port Macquarie. When we arrived we pitched the tent in a campsite then went to find the Koala Hospital. We headed on our way towards Coff's Harbour with Rachel at the wheel. After about an hour she pulled over in a town claiming she needed the toilet. Conveniently she parked right outside a bakery with discounted cakes, apparently this wasn't planned. But she picked some cream cakes, but I wasn't complaining as I got a pasty mmmmmm. We then carried on to Coff's Harbour, nipped into the tourist information centre to find out where the campsites where and were direct...

We arrived around 4:30 just in time before the tourist information centre closed at 5:00. We walked up to the door and tried opening it…… it was locked……. After a couple minutes of puzzlement we finally realised we had done it again and forgot about the time difference between states, it was actually 5:30. We jumped back in the car and headed to a campsite sign we had seen and pulled in, went up to the desk and asked for a pitch, then the reply came….."...

After leaving Brisbane we got stuck in traffic heading south, then we finally saw signs for Surfers Paradise. The k's got smaller and smaller and we were getting excited to be nearly there, then the signs disappeared, after driving for another 5 minutes we realised we had completely driven through and missed surfers paradise. After arriving at our Youth Hostel we sorted the car out ready to take it to Wicked for its Service the following day. Reception had told us we could use the car park for free, but after we handed over the money they then kindly told us it was filled and we would have to park on the street.
