Arrived safe and sound! Was so happy to see Tom and not have to hang around at another airport! Got to Mount Eliza where we're staying with Tom's cousin and the sun was glorious! So after tea we went down to the closest beach and watched the sunset. This has become a little ritual and every night we've been wandering down and letting our food go down with the sun!
So the first day I slept in then read my book and snoozed in the graden while Tom did some work on the house! The next day jetlag set in along with the clouds and rain!
Christmas Eve was lovely and we had a chilled out day and did some last minute shopping! Sun was predicted for Christmas day but didn't arrive til the evening! We had a seafood feast for breakkie instead of my usual chocolate! Crayfish, tiger prawns, smoked salmon, and bucks fizz! Tom cooked his first Christmas Dinner and it was bloody gorgeous! Got some Uggs and some Bundaberg so I was really happy! We went down to an Irish couples house in the evening and played Boules and Charades! Just like home! Haha.
Boxing day we did not move from the couch during the day! Just watched the cricket and ate left over sandwiches! Nom Nom Nom! Then we went down to the beach and met up with another family and had ALOT of meat!
On the 27th we went to see the Ashes at the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) it was fantastic! Such a fun day - although the sun didn't come out til about 4pm! I had to buy a Barmy Army t-shirt as another layer!! England are completely anialating Australia! Hehe. When we got back the Robinsoms had had another chilled day so we opened the Bundi and watched Mr Brooks! (Would defo recommend it!
Anyways, WISHING YOU ALL A GREAT NEW YEAR AND REST OF FESTIVE SEASON!
Loads of love, Ally xxxxxxx
