SYDNEY!! This weekend I flew to Sydney to stay with Rachy Roo! I tried Tiger Airways and Iv made it back in one piece! So all the rumours are rubbish i reckon! Ha. Anyhoo - I arrived on Thursday night and caught the double decker train from the airport to the city and had a nice quiet and early night. The next morning the sun was shining and I sunbaked in the garden whilst Rach went to work for half the day! It was very nice. I listenend to moosic and read the wedding mag I bought in the airport! hehe. When she got back we went down to the harbour and went on a ferry round Darling Harbour... we saw the Opera house, the harbour bridge and 2 weddings taking place on the banks of the harbour! As we circled the water we saw massive storm clouds rolling in! So we got off and went for a walk around Darling Harbour and when the heavens opened we took shelter n a bar where it happened to be hapy hour! So we had a burger and a couple of $4 glasses of champagne later we watched the sunset from the bar and decided it was home time. So we went back and then we realisedit was only 9pm so Carla Rachys housemate suggested we go get some Gelato, which was yummo! We then decided to call it a night! Gosh we're so rock and roll!

Saturday, we got up and watched Friends, drank some tea and then went to a cute little market in Gleebe the town where Rach lives. We spent a couple of hours trying on things we didn't need and in the end we bought a few necessities! We really are growing up! Not spending money on crap we dont need from markets!! We then hopped on a bus and stumbled across some wedding dress shops... after looking in 2 and some hideous ones we were about to give up and go to the proper shops when we saw a shop with our favourite sign in the window... SALE so we went in and I tried on 5 dresses! But one and only one, the first one i tried on made us both cry and it was perfect and fitted like a dream. SO for once in my life i wasnt indecisive and i bought it!!! After all it was a steal! So carried my wedding dress back through Sydney to rach's!!! That night was Earth Hour and so e went down to the Anzac bridge to see the lights being turned off but noone did! So we bought a bottle of pink fizz and went for yummy Thai!

Sunday, we had a big plan to do the Coogee to ondi walk but it was really rainy still so we went to the aquarium, which was super cool! We saw loads of sharks , took silly pics (to come) and generally had a fun time! I as amazed at how many of the creatures i had seen i real life this time round in Oz!! We thenwent back to our little bar on the harbour had some lunch and did a bit more shopping before retiring back to Gleebe,enjoying a coffeeand muffn before leaving fot the airport.

A short but very sweet visit! We drank a lot of tea, did a lot of shopping and catching up and generally chilled and enjoyed each other's company! Good times!
