Firstly I need to tell you we finished our PADI openwater course with our final 2 dives and the visability was much better so we got to see lots of beautiful different fish and coral. Passed our skills with no problems so can now dive anywhere in the world, so we look forward to the next time maybe in the Barrier reef. We also fitted in a night watching some Muay Thai boxing whilst in Ko Phangan, which was a great entertaining night with some real hardcore fights. Only one westerner fighting and we are tolf it is unusual but he did win his match.
Well onto Ko Phi Phi, just one night on this beautiful relaxed island after an overnight boat ride to get here. The island was hit quiet badly by the Tsunami so alot of restoration work has and still is going on, making all the accomodation very new, nice and slightly more expensive than anywhere else we have stayed. But relative we still only paid 1500Baht for our own bunaglow which was pure luxury with aircon, a hot shower and a quilt and fluffy pillow, right on a stunning white sand beach and the sun is shining! What more could we asked for hey.
We spent our time here basically relaxing and chilling out reading Harry Potter, feeling rather worn out from all the partying and diving, Karen is feeling not to well with a bad chest and Gill's ears still havent popped after the diving, so a right pair! You cant help but relax on this island anyway as the atmosphere is sooo laid back with no vehicles on the island at all so if you want to go anywhere you have to walk or take a taxi boat. We lounged on the beach dipping in the clear blue sea to cool down now and again.
This is the life...
