Hi ALL Sorry it has taken so long to email but we have been very busy on safari. We have been so lucky the drive up to the park was easy and the hut was lovely. we saw all the big 5 in 3 days and had many close encounters with ellies, rhino and white rhino. the weather has been really good getting up to 35. we started our days about 5am so we could have a full day on safari. andrew loved coming back at the end of the day telling people what we saw. so we are here all safe and sound, we have done all the phone calls to say we are ok. thanks to everyone that wrote on our message board. we are all ready for an early start on our trip over to Nelspruit to collect the jam jar for our first adventure to kruger park. we walked today from our lodge along the main roads for a bit of a shop(we got tupper ware) and managed to book our bus from the centre of jo'burg leaving at 7.30am. thanks write again soon x

Ah...first little travel entry. We are off tommorow, flying out of Heathrow...not terminal 5!! Departing 20.30, both Amy and I have packed our back packs, quite heavy but it will keep us fit. As I have the larger pack it looks like I have no choice but to carry her essentials....bloomin hair straightners, and other lady.. 'uh hum'..things. Just hope immigration does not make me take everything out. Arriving in Johannesburg 08:30, not much of a time difference...
