We are in Kuala Lumpur now..arrived yesterday morning. We had a 6 hour bus journey from Singapore. Quite a posh bus. Last night we went walking around Chinatown, through the markets which was quite an experience. We were hounded by all the market people selling there knocked off goods, but good quality though. I did some bartering for the 1st time, almost bought a watch. Got the price right down...he was in my pocket!

We ended up in a Reggae bar, typically it was full of foreigners like us. We ended up having a bit of a drinking fest....think we drank are way through the coctail pitcher list. Half way through the night we met the owner who turned out to be a plum as he was attracted to both amy and paige and kept on asking me which was mine...bla bla bla.. He was very annoying.

Amy and paige managed to drag me out of the bar as it was time to go...too much drink and no money left, good fun. We are staying in a shoe box with no window on the second floor of a building near Chinatown. There is a huge difference between Sinagpore and K.L (Kuala Lumpur). K.L is pretty dirty, people just throw food , rubbish etc on the streets. The people spit like crazy...even the women...right by your feet as well. We went to the building that you see on the picture. Unfortunately we couldnt walk across the Sky Walk between the 2 buildings as it is closed on Mondays. Think we will go tomo maybe.

Today we all have been nursing hangovers....so a visit to Pizza Hut was required. We have just about recovered...and will shortly be going out for some grub...maybe a beer? Tomo will be a sightseeing day...we have a few places to go. Currently we are in the stage of planning our next part of the trip. Ill let the girls do that.
