We arrived hot and sweaty at Undara about 4PM. Undara means 'long way' in the indigenous language and refers to the lava flow which went -yes- a long way from the Undara volcano, which erupted some 190,000 years ago. A world record setting 120 Kms. The lava was slow flowing which is needed to form lava tubes for which Undara is known and why we and other tourists come to the area. We left Melbourne still a little jet lagged and headed to the campervan pick up point. Now we have used Apollo once before and were not over impressed but as they did a good deal (at least that's what I thought) we used them again.
