Well hello there everyone!!!
I hope that you had a fab Christmas and a super New Year! As you possibly all know I spent Christmas in Brisbane and then headed back to Sydney for the New year. The fireworks over the Habour bridge were fantastic and just wished you had all been there to see them with me!
Spent the next few days recovering from new year and the headed off to Melbourne on a bus. Met Janna and Jon there. Spent 3 weeks there, 1st week suffering from the flu, 2nd week sight seeing and trying to find a job and 3rd week deciding what I was going to do as still had no job and no cash!!!
As you all know it was my birthday on the 27th of Jan!!!!! Spent the day with Janna and Jon at the Melbourne Safari looking at lots of huge animals, and the went to the cinema to watch Miss Potter. A proper 6 year olds birthday party!!! But I had an amazing day. Jon bought me a birthday cake and it was chocolate and had a jug of cream with it was so in heaven!!!!
We all decided the way to go was to head off fruit picking - Janna headed off 1st, however she was working millions of hours for pennies so we thought better of it! I came to a huge decision at this stage and well I am sure I will be seeing you all very soon to explain it to you!!!!! And therefore thought I would have another road trip with Jon, any excuse!
We headed up to Echuca to see Janna and had a brilliant night out there with her. Will Miss her so much, she has become a true friend and cant wait to see her again in Germany. Stayed there 2 nights exploring the Victoria and New South Wales border. From there headed to Ballart where everything we had planned went wrong because it seems that this part of the world shuts down on a Monday! How lucky they are!!!! Port fairy was the next stop - with its stunning sunset and gorgeous shell covered beaches. Shell collecting in the morning on the Shipwreck coast. Then to drive down the Great Ocean Road, taking in the stunning coast line. I would recomened anyone doing this drive, it was just amazing. From here stayed at Cape Otaway where I had the best evening of this trip. I spent the night spotting wild Koala bears in the trees. You would never expect such a cute animal to make such a scary noise!!! I will show you the videos!!!!!
After that it was back to Melbourne, where I am now. Its going to be hard to say good bye to Jon this time as I know its the last time I am going to see him in Australia! Flying to Sydney tomorrow for Emmas birthday party and then a week on the beach! I will let you all know how it goes when I see you next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take care for now
See you very soon
