My mother has been on a big hiking kick lately, but had never been backpacking. Who better to lead her and the rest of my family into the woods than the intrepid explorers, Genny and Adam. After 3,745 miles of driving, we've arrived home safely to Adam's family farm. We arrived just in time to bring in the last of the hay. Our days have consisted of picking veggies from the garden, riding the hay wagon, cutting wood before winter, and tending to the animals in the barn. There is no shortage of work on the farm, no matter what size.

Greetings from the windy city! (although not so windy today). We took the opportunity to check out the Shedd Aquarium and were given a behind the scenes tour. Although we have another favorite aquarium in mind, the Shedd Aquarium was pretty darn spectacular. The lady at the info desk told us it would take about 2 hours to see the aquarium. The Grand Tetons, were well, Grand. We appropriately hiked around Jenny Lake, where we encountered a moose, the "Hidden Falls" and 7 sorority girls. We were hoping for a bear, but the shrill voices of the 7 sorority girls probably ruined any chances of that. Until next time, Yogi.

We thought nothing could compare to the beauty of Yosemite, but Yellowstone sures does come close. Among some of the amazing things we have seen; such as waterfalls, geysers, buffalo, and wolves; this place will not soon be forgotten.
