I'm very proud of you managing to keep your journal up to date - i'm terrible - i have lots of empty books with nothing in - i definately need to use the online one next time i'm away!

Sorry about the hotel burning down in Egypt (i had nothing to do with it, i was on the Luxor-Cairo train at the time!) but the King hotel in Cairo is just round the corner and has a better bar on the roof!

Woops, don't think I got the hang of the last message I tried to post. woopsy!

I'm in my new house! Hooray! It's lovely, old, crooked and feels like home already! I can't wait for you to come and see it so I can tell you all the history (because I know you'll be interested) I'm so excited cos I found out that the bricks and boulders that have been used to build the house are in fact the boulders from Ashby Castle when it became a ruin. How fantastic is that!
