Drove to Sossusvlei early in the morning. How ever not early enough for it to be cool enought to contemplate walking up a Dune! It was breath takingly beautiful though. We got up and packed the car up. We were headed for the Desert. On the way we stopped at Walvis bay to see the flamigos. They were great. One was doing a very funny little dance in the shallow waters to find his food. Definately a better dancer than me! We then drove to Agama Lodge which was just before the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Day 2 in Swakopmond. Even though it is not as beautiful as other parts of the country it is still wonderful not to have to travel and to have a day being lazy and not doing very much. We slowly packed up the camp and drove to Swakopmond on the coast. What a difference. It was really cold and grey.
