We headed to some waterholes that were recommended to us by a guide that Rachael knew. Alas there was nothing there. I was getting a little anannoyed at the lack of game and the constant driving. We arrived at the furthest watehole and there in the bushs was a male lion. Amazing. We drove back to another waterhole not expecting to see anything but there under the tree right by the road were to lionesses. One got bored of the constant clicking of the cameras and wandered off. As we were driving out we noticed under a tree right by the road on the way in was a another lion. We completely missed it on the way in! opps.
That night we went to stayed at Okaukuejo which had a waterhole right by the site. I was very keen to see some Rhino and that night on our way to the waterhole Rachael said that it smelt really strongly of horse. I was not convinced that it was horse. When we got the waterhole we realised that it was in fact Rhino but not just one, there were NINE! Awesome. I couldn't have asked for more. What a sight (and smell!)
