so our group decided to do yoga at the iyengar yoga institute. for the ones that don't know, that is the most respected and well known school. GUESS how much! approximately $23 american dollars for five months, twice a week. TOTAL. wow.

brief update: yesterday, i met with my mentor and apparently she is deeply interested in western music. she really wants me to teach her piano, which i will do happily. she is also helping me find both a sitar and a sitar teacher. the cell phone of the sitar player she called was disconnected so she told me she would go to his house and talk to him about lessons. now that's dedication! last night, i went to this amazing indian concert. the female v...
