Looks like you're having a fab time, most jealous of seeing Fidel in real life, I missed him when in Cuba. Things here much the same, although I am a proud (and broke) homeowner now, at last!
Look forward to next instalment

Hi Gem and Lisa - what a fantastic time you are having - wish I was there with you, but someone has to carry on working I guess. Gem I bet you are missing the excitement of Train to Gain (not, ha ha). Photos and reports are great - look forward to next installment. Take care and have lots of fun! LOL Corinne xx

It was great to read your latest postcard. You are certainly visiting some interesting places, and the church architecture is really resplendent. It would be quite an experience, I imagine, to attend a service in one of the big churches at Christmas, but of course you will have long since moved on by then, and will have to be satisfied with the less spectacular Australian buildings.
So you came nearly face-to-face with Fidel Castro! You were only just in time, however, since he was all too soon to go on the operating table. Whether he will ever be fit enough to resume his duties is doubtful, but his place in Latin-American history is assured.
Yesterday I enjoyed lunch with the mothers of both of you, along with two of my former College colleagues. We had a great time, and agreed how useful and informative your website is proving to be. Please keep up the photgraphs and postcards, as we are all learning from you.
Take care. I will be in touch again before too long.

Hi girls' - certainly sounds as though you continue to enjoy yourselves (and quite rightly so too). Well if part of the reason for your travels was anything to do with the English weather, you'll kick yourselves! It has been so, so hot here for a few weeks now - way up in the 90's!!! Keep the postards coming and continue to keep well and savour every moment (Gem, what you are experiencing couldn't possibly be more exciting than Train to Gain . . . perish the thought!!!!). Take care and of course keep safe. M & M

Hey everyone, thanks for all your messages so far, we're having a grand ol time here in Argentina, but we still wanna hear about everything happening back home. Except for telling us about how hot it is. You can leave that bit out if you like!

Hellooooooooooo!!!
It all looks so exciting out there! Apologies on behalf of all Welsh rugby for the disappointing showing - we usually do better than most other sides in Argentina. I think you cursed the boyos!
Looking through all your photos makes me restless for travel. Maybe next month I'll go to Yorkshire! Am going to the V Festival at least. I'll give you a tedious rundown or how that goes! Otherwise it's a worthless comparison to your fun and games.
Leicester misses you, and I miss not being around for Lisa's birthday trip. It had become our annual summer holiday! Never mind, as you can imagine, we are already planning your welcome home party. :-)
Keep putting up the postcards; they're ace. I'm braced already for your Uraguay snaps!

So England, Brazil and Argentina are all out of the World Cup! What a way for the England players to make their exit, and I fear that Rooney will long remember Saturday's experience, though for the wrong reasons. I presume that Argentina, like England, is now virtually in mourning, with any "tango-ing" being danced at half speed! Maybe Evita's famous song should be re-written to read "We'll cry for thee, Argentina". Meanwhile, keep your spirits up, enjoy yourselves, see as many sights as possible, make the most of your Spanish lessons, and let us know what you are up to. All the best.
