Hi Guys
Glad to hear you are still having a great time - some real adventures in the last few countries - sounds like the trip of a liftetime. Life here is so busy don't have time to think - this is a really quick catch up so will have to go - but keep the blogs and photos coming. lol Sarah

It is quite a while since my last message but this communication is sent to prove that I am still alive and kicking.
I am off to Bournemouth for a short break next Saturday, but obviously there will not be the sort of excitement that you have been living with since you left our shores last May. I am always interested in reading of your adventures, and I really feel that you have both given me a first-class Geograhy lesson. Thank you so much - and please keep it up!
You may have heard that Man U won through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after a fiercely contested 4th round replay against Reading, but will they actually win the Cup? I sincerely hope so, but other teams, not least amongst them Chelsea, have other ideas. The FA Cup Final is fixed for Saturday 19 May, hopefully at the "New Wembley", so please make sure that you are back home by then!
I gather that you are now in Sydney. Will you be able to see the Opera House, and perhaps attend a performance there? In any event, you have many sights to keep you occupied, including the Olympic Stadium that was used for the 2000 Games. And don't forget that London 2012 will come round in due course....
All good wishes to both of you. Take good care of yourselves, and keep well clear of any bush fires.
Chrissy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GEMMA!
Don't know where you are or what you're doing, but hope that whatever and wherever, you're having the birthday to remember when all others have been forgotten.
Life here a tad hectic, as per usual! Am now a Qualified First Aider, but have yet to meet ONE PERSON who would feel confident about me helping out in a medical emergency. Even the rubber torso, for CPR practice, struggled to drag herself out of my range.... Moving house NEXT WEEK! Not far; still Reading, but further into the Ghetto... We'll have a garden (though may get shot if I venture out there....), and I've bagsied myself the spare room - my BOUDOIR. Every girl needs a boudoir! My Grandpa was NINETY a few weeks ago. All my friends seem to be onto their second baby, so having a bit of a mid-life crisis. However, if Grandpa is anything to go by, I've got time...
And there are a zillion other bits and bobs going on but nothing as exciting as what you're up to, so I don't want to fill the time you should be out there soaking it all up.
We miss you, as always. I'm now Team Administrator to the Berkshire West team, Heather's team, and Shereen sits diaganolly to me... Her laughter reminds me of you! Come back soon.
Lots of love and can't wait to see you, The Swan Creature xxxx

Hi Gem and Lisa,
I hope you had a good trip along the Great Ocean Rd. It is very pretty in some places and wild and rugged in others. Did you find work in Melbourne????? Would love to see you again and if you wish to visit this area the fires are mostly out and not affecting the air quality in the Latrobe Valley. Would still like to take you Gold Panning if you want. I have settled back into work after Felicity and Bretts wedding and Terry is getting ready for school on the 1st Feb Ha Ha . You should have my phone number, so give us a call.

I hope that you enjoyed a really happy Christmas, with phone calls to the family back home. This message is just to wish you all health and happiness in the year that has just started. Enjoy yourselves, but keep clear of the bush fires that have recently ravished parts of Australia. Here in Windsor there has been much rain, but I take it that drought and fierce heat is the problem in your part of the world. Take care - and I shall be in touch again before long.

Hi again Lisa and Gem
Having just seen all your nice pictures from New Zealand, including all the dolphins just thought you would like to know that I have just come back from the Carribean where I was lucky enough to swim with the dolphins for half and hour. They are amazing creatures and if you get the chance to do this in Oz you should do it, but do check the size of the dorsal fin first as we would like to see you back in the UK in one piece!!!!!!!!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your Christmas and best wishes for 2007.

Hi Gema & Lisa
1St Happy Christmas and long time no hear, Your Mums found the right address to find U. We are stuffed after Xmas meal i gather that lunch on the beach is not the same as stuffed turkey at home. have you had a beach barbi ? between swims.
Pictionary was exceptional this year Mary and your Mum surpassed themselves and were telepathic linked despite the drawings being very dodgie. Matt has gone to see his new girlfriend, she has been texting him all afternoon. Her name is Alison and Claire is dying to meet her to give the usual interagation.
We have all had a very good day the Christmas lunch was exceptional, lots of turkey, gammon, roast potatoes, parsnips and, of course, washed down with lubricant (plenty of it). The digestion systems are now suffering plenty of gas all round. - We will be BBQ on methane tomorrow - cannot be outdone by the Ozzies.
Lisa - went to see Nan today she is doing well. All going to Lisa's house tomorrow for further indulgence.
Speak again soon
