So...back again to record my events so my fish like memory doesnt let me down. This time was meant to only meant to be a trip for my mates wedding in Budapest but has turned into a trip through Croatia from Split up the country and then on to the wedding. Cant wait.

Langawi It was meant to be a quick whistle-stop  tour of Langawi and Penang in 4 days but after yet another 14 hours of travelling I decided it would be best to just chill out for my last few days in the one place.  Langawi is a strange wee place, the Malay people are really welcoming and helpful although it is a totally different atmosphere to Thailand. Railay Initial reaction when you approach this island is panic, the east beach is full of construction. There is a pier underneath the water where the longboat drops you but nothing to mark the sides so one poor girl took a bad fall with her full pack into the sea...gutted!  It's a quietish town so headed up to the hotel recommended (highland resort) and although it was no phi phi it was a great room and good price which is hard to find in Railay. Chiang Mai Well I thought it may quieten down up in chiang Mai but clearly I was mistaken. A cool night at the night bazaar followed by some great nights out with random people from all over the world. Decided to brave the 2 day "off the beaten track" trek into the jungle staying at a wooden hut in the mountains, elephant riding and White water rafting. Siem Reap & Angkor Wow is all I can say. Don't know how many time my breath has been taken away in the last 3 days but it has been a lot. Arriving around midday I was kindly picked up by staff at the Golden Mango (great hotel but a bit pricey) then into Siem Reap to grab a beer.
