After touring Cambodia missing an important person, today was the day we would meet up. I had to get up at 6.30am and jump into a cab to Hanoi airport. Ryan had already left Melbourne just after midnight and had landed in KL waiting his connection.

When I arrived at the airport I quickly found Jetstar and the check in. I quickly realised that waiting for the line or to be called was not a thing and that I needed to just push in the front to check in. After this I headed through security and had to throw out all my water even though it was a domestic flight :( the terminal itself was okay and I had Burger King while waiting. When the announcement was made to board everyone rushed to the gate. No orderly line just chaos. I finally go through and on the bus to the plane. I had picked my seat and was in the equivalent to business class. Only two seats to the row instead of 3 so I slept most of the way.

Finally I touched down in Hanoi and got the free bus to international arrivals where I awaited the arrival of someone special :) I was waiting for him to come out and as soon as we saw each other we both had big smiles on our faces!

We found our transfer with the Ryan prowd sign and drove through Hanoi. Hanoi was busy but not as much as Ho Chi Minh. We got taken to our hotel and called mr.ryan and miss.elizabeth. We soon settled into the hotel, in the upgraded room!

Next it was time to hit the streets of Hanoi and get lunch. We went to a local place that the hotel recommend. Ryan ordered local food and one of the staff showed him how to eat it. I was boring and had ice cream. We then went for a walk to the lake. It was beautiful, very busy and hot!

Soon we both returned to the hotel for a nap which turned out to be a long sleep. See you Hanoi :)
