So I arrived yay! Three 7 hour flights later. As usual me and plane food didn't mix, even when I got the vegetarian option. Brunei airport is tiny, like Hobart airport is bigger but I managed to find a nice coffee and some food. So eventually I made it to London at 6am (London time). Took forever to get through immigration (clearly I shouldn't be allowed in the country). I then found the london underground (the tube) and made it to contiki (before it was open). So with my bags dropped off, fuzz hit London, starting with Oxford street but that didn't open til midday so shopping at 10am wasn't going to happen. Plan b swung into action and I went to arsenal station :) I went to the arsenal store and off course bought a new home kit :) I also visited emirates stadium (now I can say I've been to both emirates and ethihad stadiums), it was amazing. It has so much history and is beautiful inside and out. The tour was amazing and I got to see the arsenal changing rooms (where I will work in the future) and the physio room off to the side. I had a good chat to one of the tour people. So after the tour, London decides to rain and poor fuzz in her little shorts get soaked but that doesn't matter, Oxford street was awaiting. The shops were open and amazing so my bank account is quite a lot less and my baggage quite a lot heavier. Now I'm all settled in at the royal national, waiting for the contiki meeting before getting some food and maybe some more shopping. I'm excited for tomorrow, Amsterdam :) cannot wait to see all the mad stuff there. Well day 1 London has been heaps of fun, bring on day two! P.s. I'm proud that I didn't get lost in London even when using the tube..... That's a good effort!
