Had a fantastic few days in Torres del Paine. Wouldn't have minded staying there longer but not to be and the good news was it wasn't as cold as it apparently had been the past week, so camping was relatively painless. We left El Calafate for a long day on the road, with two border crossings and a ferry crossing. We had to leave Argentina, cross into Chille for a couple of hours, get the ferry across the Strait of Magellan (where we lost our door), cross back into Argentina and then finally arrive at our camp site. 13hrs on the road. Today we went on a tour out to the Perito Moreno Ice Glacier. It is the first ice glacier I have seen and it was incredible. Unfortunately the weather wasn't to be and we enjoyed our time at the glacier in the rain but it was worth it. It is huge and hard to understand the scope of it. We left Pucon, ready for a long drive thru some beautiful scenery but also a border crossing back into Argentina.
