Great journaling - I'm proud of you. I think you'll find Normandy interesting - George's uncle was killed there a couple of days after the landing and his name is on a big stone memorial...George Maresca. George went there last year and said it's eerie how peaceful and beautiful it is now. Have a great trip tomorrow....which is already your "today."

Great journals you are posting (but sorry you couldn't sleep!!) I'll have you know that today I DID finish the tremendous garden you dug before you left. It looks really great - I'll have Michael take a picture tomorrow and email it to you. I laid the rocks along the edge - I am not the stone mason that you are! I'm watching 4th of July shows on TV - patriotic - I love it! Michael went to see the movie "Farenheight 9/11". He sanded the deck today - and used special stuff to clean it down before staining it. We found a patio set we like too - so the grand picnic will be fun out there upon your return. Guess you don't want to think about THAT yet though! Glad to hear you had a good meal! Hope we don't have to wait too long for the next update!! Love you.

michael - you will never believe i had my camera on the setting that i used for the ebay pics which was the lowest quality......i was wondering why some of the london pics have not come out well......havnt found anywhere with new enough computers to post em......and yeh i need to be more avid photographer about the travels......i am proud if the journals but i need to take more pics......i just feel like such a tourist......dont like that.......



meggo- when i talked with the girls that work here about their studies i totally thought of you and how you should do something like this ......when you are older much much older (i had to say that so mommy wont kill me)......but they get free room and board, no pay, but they really get a lot better at their languages......i say languages cause many of em speak a few.....america is the only lazy placez that lets everyone conform to us......i wish i had worked at french a bit more but some of it comes back.......enough to get by.......what do i do when i go to spain.....call you up everytime i have a question......hehe be good....



scott - ah the hunt for desmona...did i spell that right.....sounds kinda dangerous though with her uncle......plus i heqrd she has a shaddy past......but u had me rolling on the floor when i read that......and yeh the tour i talked with dan the ausy about it and he suggested the start of a race to even meet and greet the players......i woulda thought they would be focusing on the race but apparently not......i will try to post when i am gonna go and you can look for me.....maybe i will be on national TV......hope the honeymoon is going great....

laurie helga david - hey thanks for hooking them up with this site;.....yeh soundslike a grand time......if there is room for me on the 20th that would be a wonderful way to spend my b day.....i will work that into the travel plan......would we meet in germany or greece.....i could see pluses and minuses for both.....and especially if it is nearing the end of my trip and i am in greece getting back to england will be fun but there is plenty of time to work that out.......i am sure i could get back in 2/3 days and use the eurorail pass........



mother - u best be getting some work done at work and not refreshing ebay and this page too often.....thank you for your support and do not worry about me....my life has only been in danger 9,386,554 times........it is all good i will be safe.......

Hi Ben, France must be beautiful. The Eiffel Tower is supposed to be stunning at night. Possum and Foxy are great kitties and play hard toward evening. They are a joy. Not much else. Relaxing at home. Cleaned house today, including completely scrubbed baby stroller Laurie gave me for Jeffrey when he comes.

Hey Benny! You sure are loved! I hope you don't have to sleep on the ground in the middle of nowhere too many more times - that sounds like a scary situation. I find myself jealous of you being able to go to France and use your french skills (though I know they're limited - I've heard the stories about high school). I hope someday I can go to Spain and do the same! I hope you're having fun and being safe... I don't want to hear about my Benny Boy being pick-pocketed by some random "doctor" in France!
